After we visit Bishop's Court, what happens next?

If you have a specific apartment in mind that you would like to reserve, you may for up to 30 days with a 100%, fully refundable deposit of $600.00. Reserving your room will keep it from being rented. It is not mandatory to do this, simply a service to allow you a month to get your affairs in order prior to moving in, without possibly losing your favorite view or floor plan.

Whether you reserve a room or not, the next step in the process should you choose to pick our community to be your new home, would be to have a health assessment completed.

The health assessment can be done at your current place of residence, or on site at our community, it is strictly your choice. The assessment is completed by our Director of Resident Services who is also a Registered Nurse.

The assessment itself takes approximately one to one and a half hours and is very complete. It will confirm whether or not our community is appropriate for the cares required and (or) requested. This is a very in depth health/needs assessment. We recommend having at least one family member present with the prospective resident being assessed for further reference and resource.

Following the assessment your information will be reviewed by the Director of Resident Services and the Administrator for final approval. The Director of Resident Services will then follow up with you to inform you of your status. If you are approved to move in, you can then establish a move in date that will work for everyone involved.

Finally, you are welcomed to your new home within our community.
